Dr. Michael Garcia is a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas. Dr. Garcia graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in School Psychology. He completed a pre-doctoral internship at the University of Minnesota medical school with specialized focus in pediatric neuropsychology. Dr. Garcia subsequently returned to Central Texas and completed a two-year postdoctoral neuropsychology fellowship with rotations at the Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin, Texas and Neurology Associates in San Antonio Texas. His postdoctoral fellowship focused on continued training in neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric individuals. Current focus includes neuropsychological assessment for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI), dementia, stroke, and other neurological conditions. Dr. Garcia is also fluent in Spanish and can provide Spanish/bilingual neuropsychological assessments.

Dr. Garcia also serves as an adjunct professor at Texas State university in San Marcos, Texas and teaches Graduate-level courses and psychological and educational assessments.
